Back again again

Yooo!
I started the last quarter of my senior year on Monday which is INSANE. It's going to take a while to sink in, but I'm definitely ready to graduate (or at least go on May Project!)(seniors get the month of May off to pursue an independent project)(hehehehheh).
It's super stupid (or is it?), but I can't stop thinking about prawm (prom). I ordered a potential dress from asos.com, so we'll see how that goes. I tell ya, I see a flower crown in my future.

I live in Chicago, which means I'm right by Lollapalooza! Tickets went on sale this week, and my TWO FAVORITE ARTISTS (Lana del Rey and Azealia Banks) are playing.

I also really like the band Wild Belle, and they're playing on Sunday. You might've heard their song "Keep You," which is so beautiful.

valley of the....

Hi guys!

The next two weeks are super stressful for me in terms of schoolwork and all that. I'm looking forward to my Senior Class Trip (sledding, inflatable bouncy castles etc. for a weekend? Yes). The night before we leave, I'm going to try and pick up a disposable camera from Walgreens.

I made a quick little moodboard the other day. I was thinking pink/60s prints and vibes. Also a little bit of "old" Hollywood. I made a collage over the summer that was supposed to be a critique on old Hollywood and the drug culture of it. I wish I was more clever and original, but you'll have to forgive me this time!

Valley of the Dolls record and Life magazine from 1971 were both gifts, Valley of the Dolls book from Amazon (I believe?), thrifted skirt beneath it all, hair clips from dollar store, thrifted Barbie sweater set, Sweethearts from Valentine's Day last year!

Ever since school started up again, I've been sort of blue. I usually become quite introverted in the winter. It starts with the fact that the cold Chicago air is really bad for my extra-sensitive skin. So I spend a lot of time inside. I think I'm probably just a little bummed to be back at school again. I feel like the school year should be over, but I have 4-5 more months.
